If you have more than 4 working days before your test, you can reschedule free of charge.  Please contact us at info@constructionscheme.com to arrange this.

If you have less than 4 working days before your test, you cannot reschedule or cancel your test and must rebook at an additional cost.

Yes.  When filling out the booking form, you can request a voice-over to be played into your headphones whilst you take the test, reading each question to you in the language you have chosen.  Any of the following voice-over languages, may be requested on our booking form:

  6. German

We do not provide CSCS cards, however once you have passed your CITB test through us, you are eligable to apply for your CSCS card. Please contact us at info@constructionscheme.com for more information.

UK Construction Training Services will be following Government Guidance in light of the recent outbreak of Coronavirus – (COVID-19)

All CITB Test offices are open as usual. 

If and when any changes occur we will issue another statement. 

We are advising all customers who wish to book a CITB test, to schedule this well in advance. This will provide you with the best option if you need to reschedule or cancel.

Any tests booked within 4 working days cannot be cancelled. 

All tests booked outside of the 4 days will be rescheduled free of charge once you get in touch. 

The cancellation policy still applies to all bookings.

The test has been designed to cover questions that are connected to your job on site. Knowledge of specific health and safety procedures will be required. We always recommend using revision aids to familiarise yourself with the types of questions that may be asked, before you sit the exam.

Your full confirmation will be sent to you within 24-working hours from when you placed your booking.  It will consist of the following details:

  • Confirmed date and time of test
  • Test centre address and directions
  • Identification requirements
  • Booking number
  • Reschedule and cancellation policies
  • Test centre conduct

Your name must exactly match the identification document that is presented at the test centre or you will not be able to take your exam.

You are required to bring one form of identification listed below bearing a photograph and signature:

•        An original signed passport (your passport must be in date).

•        An original signed UK Photo Driving Licence (your licence must be in date).

If you do not have one of these you will need two items of valid ID (all ID’s must be in date), one from List A and one from List B below:

LIST A: 

  1. Non UK Driving Licence
  2. Passport without signature
  3. Work ID Card
  4. EU Country ID Card
  5. CITB Scheme Card
  6. Student ID Card
  7. Citizen Card
  8. British Armed Forces Card
  9. Proof of Age Card
  10. Young Scots Card             

LIST B:

  1. Credit Card
  2. Debit Card
  3. Paper Driving Licence
  4. UK Travel Document
  5. Inland Revenue Card
  6. National Insurance Card / HMRC letter
  7. B79 Notification of Discharge Letter
  8. Bank Statement
  9. Building Society Passbook
  10. Cheque Guarantee Card

Photocopies of ID will not be accepted.  If you do not bring suitable ID, you will not be allowed to take the test.

If you are unable to satisfy the above identification requirements, you will require an ID Waiver form.  Therefore, please contact us immediately on info@constructionscheme.com and title your subject heading as “ID Waiver Form Required”.

If you do not pass the Health, Safety and Environment test, don’t worry, there is always an opportunity to sit the test again. However, you must allow 24 hours to elapse after taking your test before you can be permitted to rebook.

Any tests that are less than 4 working days away, cannot be cancelled and therefore cannot be refunded.

If you have more than 4 working days before your test is due, you can cancel, however a cancellation fee will be applied.  We charge a standard fee of £20.00 for all administrative work carried out, please note that this fee applies to all cancellations regardless of time frame.
